Get Your Illinois BASSET Card
The course takes about four hours to complete, but you can pause and resume the program at your leisure. You must score 70% or better on the final exam to earn the BASSET certificate. However, you can retake the test as many times as you need to pass.
Upon finishing the course and passing the final exam, you can download and print a temporary certificate to show to your employer. You can print your official BASSET card from the MyTax Illinois website within 30 days, and it will be valid for three years.

Illinois Food Handler Course
Anyone who cooks, serves, packages or distributes food products in Illinois is mandated to complete this certification program to comply with state food handling regulations.

Get Your IL Food Handler Permit

You'll have two attempts to pass the final test. If you don't achieve a passing score within two tries, you'll need to repurchase the course.
Upon passing, you can instantly download and print your food handler card. Your certification is valid for three years. You must retake the food safety course before your permit's expiry date to keep working at your job or any other food establishment.
